Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

The Entrepreneurial Life of an Artist
March 20 @ 5:00 pm - 6:00 pm
FreeWorld-renowned soprano Karen Slack is used to inspiring others. She is a tireless advocate of the arts and brings decades of experience to her role as the Co-Chair of OPERA America’s Women’s Opera Network where she represents singers and BIPOC artists looking to transition into arts administration. In 2020, Slack created #KiKiKonversations, a Facebook live talk show that connects artists and industry leaders. Slack will join Babson College Associate Professor of Marketing Anjali S. Bal to discuss her branding and the importance of art in the business world.
Slack was recently named Babson College’s Artist in Residence. Her residency begins in March 2024 with a multi-day program featuring talks, workshops, and culminating in a performance curated and sung by Slack titled, Of Thee I Sing! Songs of Love and Justice. Both events are free and open to the public.
