Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Wellesley College Guild of Carillonneurs—play the bells during Open Tower event
April 27 @ 1:00 pm - 2:30 pm
The Wellesley College Guild of Carillonneurs carries on the 90-year tradition of bell-ringing in Galen Stone Tower, which began when the carillon was installed in 1931. The Wellesley carillon has 32 bells made of solid bronze, ranging in weight from 80 to 1,600 pounds. The largest bell is more than four feet tall and about three feet in diameter. The bells are operated by a series of levers that control the clapper inside the bell.
Join the student Carillonneurs for a unique opportunity to play the bells in their last Open Tower of the spring semester.
Reminder: Galen Stone Tower is only accessible by climbing many stairs up the tower. The best way to enjoy the music if there are accessibility requirements is to listen from the Academic Quad.
This event is free and open to the public. For accessibility and disability resources, please contact accessibility@wellesley.edu.
IMPORTANT: Parking for this event is in Davis Parking Facility. For the most direct access, enter campus via West Entry off Central St / Route 135.
