Submit your event/s here. Note that we limit event listings mainly to free or inexpensive public events in Wellesley, such as talks, films, theatre productions, concerts, etc. This is not a place for businesses to promote themselves, their classes, etc. Please don’t submit events that run for weeks and weeks. We approve event listings before they go live, typically within 24 hours.
No business sales, trunk shows, etc. (those would be paid advertisements). Please go easy on the ALL CAPS, exclamation points!!!!, etc.
We also appreciate any contributions to support our independent journalism venture.
Thanks, Deborah & Bob

Wellesley College Guild of Carillonneurs open tower & concert
February 24 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm
The Wellesley College Guild of Carillonneurs carries on the 90-year tradition of bell-ringing in Galen Stone Tower, which began when the carillon was installed in 1931. The Wellesley carillon has 32 bells made of solid bronze, ranging in weight from 80 to 1,600 pounds. The largest bell is more than four feet tall and about three feet in diameter. The bells are operated by a series of levers that control the clapper inside the bell.
Join the student Carillonneurs for their first Open Tower of the spring semester. They will be playing lots of pop tunes
Reminder: Galen Stone Tower is only accessible by climbing many stairs up the tower. The best way to enjoy the music if there are accessibility requirements is to listen from the Academic Quad.
A Swellesley reader who spoke to Wellesley College police says that they agreed to open the gate to Founders Lot (adjacent to the academic quad) at 12:30 pm on Saturday. The exit gate automatically opens on approach.
