Blythe Robinson, who recently moved on from her executive director job in Wellesley, has resurfaced quickly as the new town administrator in Norfolk, according to the Sun Chronicle.
We reached out to the town of Norfolk to confirm a starting date, but haven’t heard back yet.
Robinson, who served as Wellesley’s executive director for a little more than 2 years, resigned effective March 1. Before you could say “hey, what about a job posting?,” former assistant Meghan Jop had boomeranged back into town to be named Robinson’s replacement. Jop had left Wellesley 6 months before to take a gig in North Andover.
Robinson, before joining Wellesley, had been Upton’s town manager. She said upon leaving Wellesley that she was looking for a job in a municipality with a more traditional management structure.
