Wellesley Historical Society on the hunt for a curator

The Wellesley Historical Society, which earlier this year named a new executive director, is now seeking a new curator.

This part-time role involves developing exhibits, as well as maintaining, preserving, documenting and educating the public on the collections.

Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in History or related field with nonprofit, professional experience. Master’s degree is preferred. Grant writing proficiency and successful grant management, exhibit development and installation experience, Past Perfect aptitude, and collections management and preservation experience are required. 3-5 years of curatorial experience required. Must possess strong public-speaking skills, an ability to work collaboratively and independently, and an enthusiasm for local history.
