The Swellesley Report accepts letters to the editor. Letters must be of general local community interest and must be signed. Community shout-outs are also accepted and encouraged. For example, a non-profit may thank an organization for a donation received.
Over the past few weeks, organizations have sent in Community Commendables expressing gratitude to the Wellesley Hills Junior Women’s Club (WHJWC) for their generous financial support. If you bought a ticket to the spring Kitchen and Home Tour, you weren’t just snooping around your neighbor’s houses. You were providing important resources for neighbors in need.
In this week’s letters to the editor
- Springwell says thanks for the Club’s help in providing older adults and caregivers through the Meals on Wheels program.
- One Can Help appreciates the support for kids and families in the Juvenile court and/or the Department of Children and Families (DCF) systems.
